A new guy with questions ~!!!!
Greetings all !!!
I am the proud owner of a 2008 f150 with almost 100 miles on it. I got a basic f150 XL model. It has a 5.4 with 4x4 and a 3.73 rear end. I have a few questions that I would really appreciate some feedback on from some of you guys. So, here goes :
1) This truck has the ugliest wheels(just plain steel) that I have ever seen on a truck. The tire size is 255/70R17. Do the wheels off of any other ford truck work on this truck? IF yes, what year /model? I cannot find any aftermarket wheels that look decent.
2) Like almost everyone else , I want a bit better performance/mileage. Any suggestions as to reasonably priced changes that I can make that will improve my truck? I am currently thinking about a K&N cold air intake and possibly cat back system. Any suggestions/warning?
