Hey guys i recently bought a set of Chrome Putco In-channel window visors and I am having a hard time installing them on my 2004 F-150. I followed all the directions included with them but, with them installed there is not enough room for the window to close properly. Does anyone else have these on their truck and if so, how did you get them to work?

Also, does anyone know where I can find the black bug deflector that has F-150 on it?

Chrome window visors and you want a black bug deflector? whatever you like i guess.

i wish i had a pic... but i have black window visors and HAD a chrome bug deflector... i taped it off and cut out f-150 across it. then painted it black, so now i have a black deflector with chrome f-150 across it. looks pretty cool.

 

I thought about getting the bug deflector in chrome also but, I don't want to much chrome on the truck. It already has door handles, visors, rocker panels, bed rails and grille in chrome. Do you think putting the bugshield in chrome would be to much? I should also mention that the truck is black.

 

Here is a pic of my truck a while back, before I painted everything black.. this is mostley chrome/silver on red truck. I liked it. but my nerf bars where getting pretty scratched up so i decided to paint all the chrome and silver black.
