EFI Change-over
Which model year is the best to take an EFI 300 from? Assume no smog requirements and a host of high-performance goodies to be installed, and the transplant recipient is an '85 F150. Also, do any of these motors have OBDII to confront? Or is that just passenger cars? Thanx in advance.

Chris, Ford went to a MAF system on the 4.9L California trucks for '95, and the other 49 states in '96. Unfortunately, they incorporated the never-to-be-sufficiently-damned OBII thing, too, but that doesn't seem to be giving guys that are using it any problems.
Go over to the Ford Six and Clifford Performance forums, there is quite a bit can be done to the 300 easily (or not so easily, depends...)
