if the only thing screwed into the tranny was the backup light switch, go back to the connector at the rear diff, hose it out good with brake clean, and take a seal pick and smush the tabs on the actual wire connector closed a smidge...
check the connector on the sensor and make sure you didn't bend a pin plugging the connector back in...
