Brake Nightmare:
I am having problems with the brakes on my 1952 F-1.I hit the brakes hard and the right rear wheel was the only one that locked up.The brakes on each wheel are adjusted up good but the pedal feels spongy and goes down about half way.The master cylinder is new and full of fluid.I had a wheel cylinder leaking on the left rear and the Ford dealer replaced it and used some fancy way to bleed them.All I know is something is not right.One wheel sliding and you don't stop very good!What could be wrong? Not good. Glad you didn't hit anyone or thing. I also learned that bench bleeding is very important thing to do, (saves a lot of time) but all lines need to be bled. A good brake pump works the best on the lines. Good for a one man show when the wife isn't available to help pump and hold down that pedel. Are your front hoses in good condidtion? Might want to pull off the rear drums to inpsect the wheel cylinders for any leaks or problems.

If the shoes are adjusted so you can just slip the drums over the shoes, it should be right. Next step would be to bleed the system.
Right rear, left rear, right front, left front......in that order. Keep the master cylinder full or you have to start over.
