300 C.I.D. engine with 4x4 ?
I am looking to purchase a 1992 or 1993 F-150 ExtraCab with the 4.9 litre (300 cubic inch) 6 cyl engine. I would like to know if there is such a package with the 4x4. I have a 1978 F-150 with the six and it is bullet proof. I want the same engine again but I need the 4x4 capability and the extra room of the back seat. Any info will be appreciated.

Yes, the inline 6 was offered in the extended cab 4x4. It was not as popular in that truck as the v8 so finding one might be challenging. Good luck.

I'm sure you can find a 92 or 93 F150 extra cab 4x4 with the inline 6. Just look around and I am sure you can find one.

I'm sure you can find a 92 or 93 F150 extra cab 4x4 with the inline 6. Just look around and I am sure you can find one.

Well, I just bought one 2 weeks ago, so they aren't impossible to find, just difficult. I got a 93 extended cab 300 5spd 4x4. I called all the ford dealers within 50 miles and only found a couple. It took me about 3 weeks to find mine. I ended up buying it out of the local Automotive classifieds.
