Replaced the 6637
dirty, dusty, and bent 6637 I had under the hood.
MY gOD WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! I can hear the turbo again, AND I LOVE IT!!!

Any way, gonna get the coolant flushed, and get my 203 stat installed tomorrow too!
P.S. Oh yeah, I also cut up my drivers side "air ducting"/battery box to make
everything cleaner looking, and more accesible. LOTS more room in that
corner now. Hope to get pictures posted when I can get a chance.

I was having a hard time getting the rubber intake hose to fit around the filter nose until I sprayed a little lube in there...
also, completely unscrewing the hose clamp was necessary. Is this normal for everybody else?
got to it, as it's not as critical as engine oil. Little or no HP gain noticeable by the but
dyno, but like I said, I can hear the turbo much louder now, so its safe to sume it's
breathing much easier now than before.
Just picked it up at napa.... Unfortunately, it's not a napa gold, just a durabrand or
something like that... I could only get mine in to the lip... then the lip on the inside of
the filter neck stopped the tubing, so I heated the hard plastic up with a torch and
tightened down the clamp. Even with lots and lots of oil from my in-tact ccv unit,
there is no dust at all in the intake, just a slight film of oil, and the turbo looks like its
new. (though I still need to check for play one of these times, I'll get to it when I do
the ccv mod)
