factory p/s cooler?

factory p/s cooler?
I have a '73 f100 4x4- anyone know if it was supposed to have a coller on the return side of the p/s lines? p/o installed a big trans cooler for the p/s. NOw its leaksing and i want to get rid of it.

my 76 has a little cooler mounted on the drive side fender well all it is is a U with cooling fins on it http://discountpowerparts.com/catalo...r_Steering.jpg looks like that but is mounted to the fender well standing up
