porta power
I need to staighten the sides on my snow pusher. What would you suggest? The pusher is 10' wide, they don't make a long extension for a porta power. Would you do something different than cutting a piece of 6X6 to make the porta power work?

Put some kind of blocking to make up space and have the ram as short as possible and make sure it is perfectly straight when doing this or you will have some serious problems with bending a ram or something kicking out and have another person with you when you do this incase something should go wrong

You are on the right track basically, but the thing too look out for is that it needs to sit in solid, or it will just angle out and not push. You can find a way to hold it to the plow to help. I have done distance pushing like that, and it can be tricky, but it also can be done. I would put the porta-power as close to the end pushing as you can though, have the base push against the 6x6, or find something you can tack on to the blade if need be.
