i might take to the oil pan off and replace the gasket just for the hell of it, what is a good gasket to get and do i need to use anything like rtv blue to seal it. Thanks

I just replaced my oil pan and gasket on my 92 because it was rotted out.I bought both parts from ford dealer the gasket is $35.41 it is rubber and has steel spacers in the bolts holes to prevent over tightening. I just put a little bead of RTV on each of the 4 corners and put it in place.Good Luck
