Strange problem with stuck horn
Yesterday my 2005 Navigator's horn stuck on after I removed the key from the ignition (and not pressing the horn). Thought I might have fat fingered the panic button on the remote so I started it up and the horn stopped. Then I turned off the ignition and very carefully removed the key and wala again the horn started blaring and wouldn't stop. I pushed the horn switch on the steering wheel thinking it might be stuck but that didn't make a difference (and on second thought why doesn't the horn start blaring when the key is in the ignition?). Everytime I take the key out of the ignition the horn blares. When I insert the key the horn stops and I can drive it normally and the horn will honk like it should. But when I pull the key out it starts blaring. So I pulled the fuse and now I'm posting this message to see if anyone else has ever seen this and could it be related to the key and/or ignition switch?
