So many members, yet less than 20 chime in when we're trying to get a meet going... Lets get all of us out at a junkyard meet, now THAT's a force to be reckoned with!

I was being generous saying 20, didn't want to say 7 and have the other 3 people appear, pissed that I left them out .
Us SoCal folks all seem to be up pretty late tonight...
Not going to get into the JYM conversation again, as the three posted here so far are pretty much the only folks ready to gas up and go... Too damn bad.

If this yard was in the midwest, there wouldn't be so much as a bolt left. Ppl here are spoiled, there's too many weekend diversions, so getting any kind of a meet together is tough. This is true for most of the car clubs. The days of touring are gone here too. Because of traffic, most of the meets are of the lawn chair variety. Sitting in some park somewhere, while the vehicles bask in the sun, isn't much fun. No thanks...been there, done that.
Boyd Coddington has opened up one day a month for tours of his place in La Habra, then there's Edelbrock, who does the same thing. There are fun places to go, it's just tough getting ppl stirred up enough to get up off it.

Honestly....I wouldnt be suprised if they are one time members like there seem to be so many of on FTE in general....the ones who come by to ask a question then never return once theyve gotten what they want. If I had a little more time I'd go through and remove members who havent posted in a year or so in our forum.

Gotta Question how do you know if you have been accepted as a member? Or do you take for granted that you have been? Junkyards I would love to show but heres the deal tryin to get my F-100 back on the road again, needless to say a junkyard would come in handy bout now. Think but not sure may need some of them pricey at the dealer parts for my 96 F-100 EFI... fuel pump and or maybe some electronic ignition pricey stuff. Hope it's the pump rather be greasy and tired than broke. Maybe if it is not raining I'll kick my Harley into gear and be able to make it. Would like to meet some of you folk. Thanks I won't dis-appear on you all.
