Has Anyone Else Noticed?
Has anyone else noticed slower and more difficulty posting on this site? I have DSL & only here does life seem slow. I was wondering if the servers were close to max or what. I don't have the slows anywhere else and was just wondering if anyone else has noticed.

The site is being worked on in the background.
Some of us just say "Oh well" and not get excited or say anything but, just go read an online newspaper.
whenever it is a problem for you.

I have had trouble on and off with FTE always. I just leave it and come back later.
Dennis maybe you can give us a little more detail on how you go about doing a "trace route." (?) And if you find out what the trouble is can you remedy it?

When it is working ...it is blistering fast.
I'm quite impressed actually.
Most of the problems I have is getting a signal locally.

It is more annoying on my machine than just "strange". The screen actually freezes on some commands. In order to access the site at all I have to hit the stop button, hit the back button and try all over. Loggin in...same thing. When I hit the back button to return to a forum's main page after looking at a thread, the main page is an earlier version! I hope this all gets fixed soon.

Procedure for trace route.
click "start"
click "run"
Type in "Command"
Black screen with flashing cursor shows up
Type in: tracert(space)ford-trucks.com
press enter
and watch the ping returns
to make a copy press PRTSCN on keypad
to directly to the program....Paint
click edit
click Paste
save as "Traceroute to FTE Dec 18 2007"
paste in message to see routing.
here is what I just got.

I have noticed it since the move to IB..
In fact it took 2 minutes after press the Reply to Post button to get an error that the database had a prblem and to hit refresh..
I have been seeing that error many times per day...
Hopefully this is just soem growing pains and will get straightened out.

I too have had it stall when you hit post. It does it so much, that I open Solitare and play a game while I'm waiting for it to post. It is not consistent in how long it takes, but there are plenty of times that I can finish the game first. Other times it will post as soon as the game opens.
