Oil leak repaired
Just a follow up to an earlier post of my oil leak under the hood of my 05 diesel. It was in the dealer yesterday and they replaced both CAC tubes to the turbo. I don't know what CAC stands for but that's what it say's.
They also cleaned the oil up under the hood (which was nice of them). The Ex has 15k on it. I'm thinking of getting the extended diesel warranty. I have till April of next year to decide.

It is not connected to the oil system, but what happens is the crank case ventilation is routed through the intake of the turbo and there is a certain amount of oil build up that occurs in the CAC tubes and in the intercooler from this. In the tech folder of this forum there is information on how some people have elimated the ventilation from going into the intake and have vented it to the air.
