Yes, removing the bumper, intercooler (everything in front of the motor) is the most common way used by people w/out a lift. I'm sure some w/ a lift have done it as well for various reasons. Most say it cuts the r & r time about in half if you lift the body, however, it will tie up the lift until the 6.0 is back together. Good luck and get ready as a "noseless" truck sure looks bad.
