Anybody knows who makes the Ford radios, like the CD/MP3 in the 08’s? I thought that if it was made by say Kenwood or who ever and I happen to choose a double DNN nav/cd system made by the same company, I could use the existing Sirius satellite box that was put in by Ford.

Reason: bold type
Visteon was one of the manufacturers... I know there are a few others out there..
On Edit: for Ref... there are manufacturers that make interfaces that will allow you to keep your OEM radio and then add on accessories such as a rev. camera, I-pod "controller" and blue tooth interfaces all in one (minus some cables and provided it has a Aux button and or the RDS feture) Kenwood and Eclipse quickly come to mind... iirc Alpine also had something out there too.

If it was produced by Pioneer it will have a rather large sticker saying pioneer on the bottom. Visteon should be marked somewhere on the unit if it is a Visteon. Look for a stamp or something...
