One has to be very careful when buying sheet metal.
My suggestion.. Look locally where body shops buy their stuff.
Then you can go there and gets all the dope on quality/thickness/fitment/price
rather than dealing with shipping companies, etc
be careful, i have also shopped at LMC there panels are not bad need to bang on them a bit to get it just right but they are nice... Hands down the best parts i've ever used... Dennis Carpenter.com... panels fit perfect, most of the stuff is made from the factory dies...
NPD are good for specialty stuff about the same quality as LMC... Shop around locally aswell...
I have had good luck with LMC Truck if you have to order something you can't find local.
There are FTE sponsors that pay for this very forum y'all are using.
Look on this page for links to FTE sponsors: Blue Oval Truck Parts / MAR-K / National Parts Depot / Mac's Antique Auto Parts / Auto-Krafters
All offer free online catalogs.
In addition, there Mike's Truck Salvage & Green Sales, which sells Ford obsolete parts.
lmc is a middleman = buying from one and selling to another, marking the prices up in the process. What they do import...comes from China.
lmc is not an FTE sponsor.

www.tabcobodyparts.com
this company stamps their own parts in OHIO (USA) using original pieces as the patterns. Quality of metal / thickness is better than OEM. I got my panels from here for my 78 f250 crew and was impressed! Price was decent too. I first ordered panels from BOTP and they were the made in China S**T. fit was way off.
oooooooooooooooo, I'm telling on you, talking smack about a forum sponsor!! I expect the forum vigilante to thump you on the nose any minute now!! I like that website you linked. Its simple, and its to the point.
does tabco offer a catalog-just visited their site and they must be having some difficulties as alot of pics wont come up.Has anyone found outer panels for the rear crew doors?

If this is directed at me...
I don't promote "ANY"..FTE sponsor regarding sheet metal parts.
In Fact, I WARN people to be careful with ANY business that sells sheet metal parts FTE sponsors INCLUDED.
89bronc i just tried the link to tabco and it's working all pics were loading.
maybe try again.
One difference with tabco (at least with the parts i got) they were not painted (primed?) the black color that the "other" companies sell, they did have a coating on them so they did not rust but they looked like clean new sheetmetal and most importantly, the fit couldn't be any better.
