Dash removal
Need help, down to last screws holding at duct manafold, cannot access srews. Have a short from light switch back,where wires were burnt clean. Need to access wire harness and trace back.

Welcome to the site Bigdawgkkvk. I'm not sure I understand where your stuck at. Did you remove the headlight switch? When I removed that part of my dash I removed the headlight switch, bought the U-shaped tools to remove the radio, unplugged the radion & headlight switch and then just unsnapped the dash cover. There are (2) screws above the radio that point up which may need to be loosened to get the dash off but I didn't have to do that on mine.
If none of this makes sense, or we're talking about different pieces of dash let me know. I think I've got some pics of what I did that I can post if that would be helpful.

Almost any auto parts store carries the radio tool. I have even used finishing nails and fabbed up coat hangars.

For the 5-10 dolla for the tool you are just better off! I did the coat hanger and it worked, but after a lot of fn around. With the tool it took way more time to drive the three blocks to NAPA and buy the stupid thing.
