engine trouble
i have a 1978 ford f150 4x4. One my front driveshaft u-joints keep popping off when i put it in 4 wheel drive or the cv joint keeps hitting the bar under the transfercase and transmission. Second we just got the car working and it ran but every morning it will turn over and either cut off or if you rev it it will rev and then cut off. Then after doing that a while it starts. When we drive it though i can make it about 200 ft and then i loose all acceleration but the car continues to run. then when i stop it either sounds bad or shuts off. I can turn the car right back on but only get about 20 ft until it does the same thing. could it be the spark plugs or something else.
