trailer lights
Greetings i have a 2001 f-150 and pull a 1000lb motorcycle trailer. the brake lights seem to work ok but when i turn on the running lights they stay on for about 30 sec then i hear a click like a breaker on the passenger side and the lights go out. i can turn them back on in about one min. but they do it again. any thoughts?

If I understand your problem, it is your running lights that are going on/off with the circuit breaker? If so, this may sound very basic but, you may have a short in your trailer's running light circuit. Check ALL of the wire routing for it may have rubbed to the frame, check the backs of the light housings for bare wires, pull the bulbs and look at the little cardboards/pins the wires may have shorted to the sockets. you may also want to make sure that the wiring on the trailer matches the wiring on your truck(not just mating but that the ground on one is ground on the other, that running lights on one is running lights on the other). It sounds like one of two things 1. short 2. non-matching wiring. hope this helps.
