Neg Battery Cable

Im trying to find the neg battery cable for my 95 F350 with 5.8. I tried to use 2 seperate ones caus it goes from battery to frame then block. It still doesnt seem to be working. This is the Motorcraft part number WC8980, none of the web sites have any pics, and the Ford dealer by my house just went out. If anyone knows if this is indeed the one i am looking for that would be great. If not i got to drive 1hr to closest dealer. Or i could call humm.

Buy some cable and ends and make one.... I would avoid the bolt on ends though the tend to invite corrosion. Solder on or crimp on if you can.

If you have good connections that shouldn't be your problem. Maybe you have a starter going south on you..... Just a thought.

Does it sit any longer than usual when you have the problem with slow starts? If so you may want to check for a minor draw.

Part of my 2 peice calble. The one that went from block to frame. One eyelet pulled out. And the stud on the engine was loose. Went to parts store and got new peice. And used a bolt instead of stud. Alt is charging at 14.5 vs 13.3. Head unit has nice volt guage in it.
