New Van Big Ideas

some time this week i will be adding a new member to my already large Ford Truck Family, it is a 1982 1 Ton econoline van that was my areas former ambulance years ago and a local volunteer fire department owned it up until now. Its got the 460 with C6 4 new tires, and two things ive always wanted, A pillar lights on both sides, its not the one with a box on the back, its a van body with a fiberglass raised top, low miles, anyway i need the motor for my 87 F.150, i will be swapping the entire van drivetrain in it, but is the 460 with the c6 the same overall length as my 351 with c6 that was in it, or do i have to make new tranny mounts and get work done to my drive shaft, any info will be greatly appreciated

The engine and tranny will drop in. You need to measure the tranny length to make sure your driveshaft will fit.
