TTB axle pivot bushing replacement

TTB axle pivot bushing replacement
I can't find it specified anywhere in my Chiltons, but do these bushings need to be pressed out (or if they're anything like most control arm bushings, cut/hacked/burned out) and the new ones pressed in?

Yes, you are right about getting the old out(cut, hack, burn). The manuals are'nt very good about descriptions. You'll have better luck searching the net for write-ups.
Here's one with pics. The title says radius arms but refers to the pivot bushings.
