Cluster lamps

Are the lamps that illuminate the instrument cluster replaceable. If so where can these be purchased other that through the dealer ?

I think the spec on them is in the owner's manual isn't it? With this number you should be able to go to any auto parts store. In fact, they can probably look up the number for you.

I just changed these this weekend - talk about a nightmare to get to! You have to remove so many covers and then twist the headlight switch to full on, pull out the switch, re-insert it 180 degrees opposite of where it's supposed to be, then pull out the whole headlight switch assembly and uncoupled the connecters in order to remove the panel. I finally pulled out the instrument cluster and found that it uses five # 194 bulbs. 3 of them were burned out but I replaced all 5 anyway as they were 10 years old - I don't want to pull that cluster out again - if ever.
