need help FAST!!!

Today i started my truck witha 82 300 to school and then i tried to start it after i was here for about 10 min. It just made a really bad grinding noise. WHat could this be making the noise. i need help really quick. thanks

Matt, is the really bad grinding noise come from the starter area or the engine itself? jimarlie

need help FAST!!!

im not sure where the noise was coming from but i figured it out. The battery cable didnt have good connection. I was pretty sure that was it but i didnt have any tools to take them off and clean it with. I got a ride to my dads work got the tools went and cleaned it off and it started right up.
