Years ago there was a similar thread going and someone asked what I called my truck. Well, at the time it was just a pile of parts that I would look at and say "someday you'll be something", so the name "someday" stuck.
i gave mine a descriptive name. Flatrod II for flat paint, flat motor. not a rod but a warmed up merc 4" crank, Eab heads, large carb, schneider cam, some port/polish.
My trucks name is Jack, it comes from the guy it worked for . Jack the owner was a house / fence painter / friend of my dad .In 1967 he found out i had turned 16 so he sold / gave the truck to me. He said he wanted 50 dollars so i gave him my asparagus picking money and while i was looking under the hood he went over to my dad and said ( he's going to need it) and gave it back. JFB.
I'm boring, I typically don't name my vehicles. My truck is "the F2", my 53 sedan is "the 53", my tractor is "the Oliver" and so on. I recently got in trouble though, I bought a second 38 Ford car. I call them "the coupe" (a total project) and "the phaeton" (it runs and drives!), but my wife is trying to name the second one... we'll see.

Ford's first Lightning model was an F-150 in 1993-94 and was a hot rod F-150 with a 351 V-8, auto trans, with engine, suspension, and interior upgrades. Mine is a 1948 F-1 hot rod with a 427 small block crate motor, with EFI, a 4R70 auto trans and suspension upgrades. It reminded me of the 93-95 Lightning so I called mine the F-1 Lightning. The 93-95 Lightning only came in white, black and red, so the color of mine will the the same as the Lightning red. My avatar is an F-1 badge with a blue lightning bolt in the same shade as the original Lightning badges.
I acquired my 55 f350 thru a bank repo auction, so she was kind of in jail for awhile. Currently she is housed in my buddy’s garage til I can get some area cleared out to work on her at my own place. Me and the wife were leaving my buddy’s place after working on the brakes. I told him bye and thanks for the conjugal visit. My wife started laughing and singing “Prison b$!?h, my Prison b$!?h”. The name stuck, but she needed a proper name that others might not find offensive. So I tasked my kids to find a fifties name with PB initials. Their final vote was Patsy Belle aka Prison B$!?h.
My 1952 R32-4 Marmon Herrington (F3) is Speck. Speck was the nickname of the fella that bought him new. It lived its whole life on the same ranch. I bought it from Speck’s son. It was last licensed in 1966. I have the original title.
I named my 1949 Mitch, My father's name was Mitchel and when I was a about 16 he had a 1950 this same color that I learned to drive in. It was the inspiration of my build. His truck is the one in the picture in the upper left corner next to my name in upper left corner
