Truck Running Like Crap

last friday my truck 89 f-250 300 starting running like crap, bogging down back firing, idiling weird so i went a bought a ignition module.. put it in ran like a dream. now its friday again and its starting to do the same thing. could the ignition module be screwed already? could a ignition coil make is happin? anyways any help would be appreciated

On mine, the distributor was killing the ing box. Im not sure on how to test the dist, just happened to have a spair. Someone will shed some light on the matter.

Maybe replace your voltage regulator, it could stuck open a little letting to much current get through and smokin your ign box. That happen on my 81 F100 and my ign box got the crap blown out of it.
