When I got my PCM from DP-Tuner I had them disable the PATS system. They sent me a diagram showing what to disconnect in order to keep the theft light from flashing.
I'm wondering if anyone has disabled their theft light, and what's the best method to get to the connector; via the panel under the steering wheel, via the trash bag holder thing or maybe after taking out the glove box....? (help)
The light is on the gauge cluster. Seems to me the easiest would be to pull the dash and then the cluster and remove the connector. Can't imagine going through the glovebox would be easier.
Hey Monsta - You're right, but the wiring diagram I have from DP-Tuner shows a connector that should be disconnected further toward center of the firewall. It's one of those 3D-cutaway drawings that is a little confusing to look at. I should probably just call DP-Tuner, but I figured others had probably disable their pats. I guess I could always just put a piece of electrical tape over the theft light.
