hi all
on my f350 1994 i change:rpm sensor,tps,speed sensor and computer.
Trany is rebuilt since 1000 miles and I always have the same probleme.
limp mode ...limp mode ...ect
help please ,I becomes mad
Have you tried using a OBD1 code reader to read the codes from the transmission's computer (TECA)? If you haven't read the codes you are only guessing at what the problems may be and are wasting time and money. If you have read the codes and properly fixed the problems, have you cleard the codes from the TECA? Also check all the wire harness connections for proper connectivity. As you check them clean them and fill them with die-electric grease to keep out water. You can get a code reader for as little as $30. Good luck. Jim
Did you set the FIPL/TPS to specifications........ So you had the trans rebuilt, why just because it was in limp mode all the time. You must have had both batteries disconnected during the rebuild time.......if not would you do that for us, leave them disconnected for 1/2 hour. That clears the memory of codes.......after you reconnect the batteries set the FIPL/TPS..... I will send you the info by PM so please activate it. Do you get any flashing OD light on the shift lever. If I have an email addy I can send you pictures and schematics if you want them. Sent you an email........
