I was in Winnipeg yesterday and saw something I had to mention. There was a '57 ranchero driving around. It was spotless. The guy had taken the Ford body and put it on top of a late model Toyota tacoma pickup. The drivetrain was completely Toyota, but the body is totally Ford. It's a 4x4 too. It had stock ride height, so I would never have guessed about the chassis if he hadn't told me. For anyone that happens to be in Winnipeg, it's at No Name car store on Portage Ave. I asked for pics, but he didn't have any and I didn't have a camera along. Sorry about that.
not sure i'd want to see pics of that. sounds like someone should be shot!! interesting enough, but why not use an elcamino of something of no Ford affiliation??
It`s a shame but at least it`s still on the road I guess.
I would never do this either.....I`d much prefer stock and I think it would be worth alot more that way.
