anthor need help with tires thread ;)

ok , i did a search but i sort of need specific info..

I have a 2002 F150 FX4 offroad.

I was wondering what the largest tire size with 17 inch wheels i could fit with out any problems..

I really like the Micky Thomson Baja MTZ.. And could you post picturs of your pre 04 F150's with large tires on them plz..

PS: Any tire and wheel combination help would be greatly appercaited.

285/70/17 I'll see if I have any pics of when I ran them.

Expect no rubbing but increased brake wear as well as the front suspension getting worn faster and U joints going out faster.

You could even go to a 295/70r17 nitto as well.

I've heard some not have rubbing issues and some do with 295's. Every tire maker is a bit different not every 285 (295)/70/17 will measure exactly the same.

here is the tire and wheel set-up i;m going with.. tell me if these r going to work i dont see a problem but just to make sure before i click the pay button.

Overall Diameter = 33
Tread Depth = 18/32

Tires are fine rims have some questions, these trucks are hub centric not lug centric also you need to find out what the stud holes size is; '97 and '98's have 12mm studs '99+ have 14mm studs.
