yeah the sound on mine was very hard to pin down. as u may have noticed i had already replaced the serp belt, tensioner which was bad anyhow, and the idler pully which had dry bearings, before tracking the sound to the alternator.

sounds like you may need to check your tensioner, the spring may be weak.
you could also try a different brand of belt. i noticed when i went to a better brand of belt it quieted down a lot.
