I was gonna blame but i couldnt becuz i order the engine and it was more of a favor to do that because they could have just put int he engine and said i need this part and told me to leave .. i mean they could have just temp fixed it and let me leave without telling me anything. Plus its hard to find a decent shop that does honest work and does make-up stupid things to charge you for.

The spout is incorporated into the valve cover. Ford told you correctly. Where is the other engine? Is It a 4.6 also. If so, then you can get the valve cover from it. The engines rely on pressure. I know that the PCV in my 07 5.4 rattled like crazy when I changed the hose. I actually had to "tune" the hose with a band type clamp to make it quiet down. It sounded like a pissed off bumble bee under the hood. You are missing a lot of the trim pieces on your motor. When I see something like that I wonder what else was left out. How did the shop make a part that is molded into the valve cover? It sounds like a hack job to me. I wouldn't be surprised to find more things pop up after a bit of time. My motto to live by.... Do it right.... Do it once. It sounds like the shop that did the work is great at sending things out half way.... looks like it's time to find a new shop. And people wonder why I don't bring my vehicles anywhere to be worked on... HACKERS! I can't stand it. How do some of these people sleep at night!

umm...most people were willing to help. but your 1st post was badly structured and it took quite a bit of prodding to actually figure out what your issue was. I finally went to your public profile and figured out your truck is a 2002 with a 2005 motor.

if a shop did all that hack-job...wow. they should have yanked the old motor and dropped the new motor in. then swapped out the intake/brackets/pulleys/etc. as necesary to make it work. The blocks are the same...hopefully the sensors are also. I've done similar swaps before and it's fairly easy to accomplish.
