Digital Multimeters

This is just a Heads Up Notice.

Sears has a sale on multimeters in all price ranges. I picked up one that normally sells for $99.++ for $40.07 out the door and this little beauty has many bells and whistles like the infra red thermometer and other attachments.

Before you ask, No I do not work for sears this is just a great chance it get a quality meter really cheap. If I recall correctly there are a couple in the $20.00 range. these items are for the most part around 60% off.

Check 'em out on line: sears.com

Cheers,
Rog

did you get it online or in the store? I need one as mine has apparently bit the dust.

I originally ordered it on line and they (on line folks) said that they would send me a confirmation E-mail which they didn't so I took the page that listed my order to the store and just bought it for the same price as on line. As an added bonus the store gave me a small nylon tool bag with velcro that the unit just fits. I don't think that I would have gotten the bag with the on line order.

I bought model #81079 Sears #9561069010

Originally sold for $99.99 and ended up paying $39.99 + tax= $43.09

Nice instrument, large read out, easy to use and encased in rubber.

Hope this helps.

Rog

My Fluke takes a 9V battery in the back. You might try that, if you haven't already. Just a suggestion.

I have 2 Flukes but I keep Harbor Freight meters in both my trucks. They sell for a whopping $3 or $4, depending on model and whether or not they are on sale. Except for battery life when kept outside in the cold, they work great.

I did try that... I think the person I loaned it to, fry'd it.

I picked up one from sears for $40 bucks. It was on sale, but not from $99. It does do all I need though, like temperature...My last one didnt do that!
