Fuel heater leaking- help
I had a bad leak at my fuel filter bowl. it was not the drain valve, but the fuek heater connector o-rings. I took out the fuel bowl and cleaned out the sludge and replaced the drain valve a the larger fuel heater o-ring. i couldn't find the small one anywhere after about 15 tries. I still got a small leak, barely a drip now, but my fuel heater plug smokes after shutting off.
Ford wants $38 for a fuel filter bowl o-ring kit (6 o-rings).. way too much
anyone got the sizes or o-ring #'s for
2 for fuel heater
2 for inlet and return fuel lines.

Do a search in this forum or the Super Duty forum...I saw a thread in there about replacing the O Rings. I think you will find it under "Diesel Smell". They give the sizes you can get from the local hardware store for about $5.
