Tire diameter, quick Q

I want to get some new tires for my off roader. I'm looking at 33" Super swampers and I have a question:

Will the tires be a little smaller in diameter when on the truck? or will they remain 33"?

Thanks

They will stay pretty much 33" That is about as big as you can go without a lift kit. 35's will fit but you will rub the fender when the springs compress on the front.

You don't even know what kind of truck the tires are going on, nor did I mention anything about a lift... but thanks

Tires height tends to be just under stated size.

Easy dirtjumper,,,, I would consider that he was using your sig as to what they were going on,,,,,, don't jump to soon. I have 255/85/16 TRXUS Mud Terrains on my 77 4x, and they are right about a 33 1/2" tire. Check out their website and they have the specs on the tires. http://www.intercotire.com/site.php

33" is off the truck and will be a hair under. when you put weight on, you will lose a little bit depending on what kind of air pressure you run.

When I had 33" SSRs, they were over 33 inflated off the truck, and just under when on the truck.
