solenoid location
Where is the solenoid located on a 98 Explorer? Is it mounted to the starter or somewhere else? Also, if not on the starter, is it easy to remove/replace and what can I expect to pay for it? Any help would be appreciated.

The starter relay controls the voltage to the starter solenoid.
The starter relay is under the hood drivers side fender.
Three wires solid black, solid red, red/light blue stripe.
Last one I replaced was on my 87 Ranger and about 15 bucks from Napa.
