Dead PCM
Repair shop told me my pcm on my 01 7.3 has a short. I need to know if a pcm from another year will work on my truck and if anyone makes an after market pcm. By the way, the stealership wanted 1600.00 to fix my truck and they did not even have the correct diagnosis.

Check with one of our sponsor sites. Direct Ford Parts has one for ~$360 with a $100 core chg. 99-02 have the same basic PCM, but will have diffent calibrations for their applications.
