2003 ford excursion 6.0
Has anyone had trouble with either the batteries or the alternator after 88000 miles. Truck is being run around town and the batteries continually won't start the truck. Have replaced the batteries with two 1000 crank amp batteries still no luck. Truck seens to be starting with the same amount of cranks.

if its not wht ken said, take the alt up to auto zone and they will test it for u for free to c it if is on its way out. I did this with my batt 3 weeks ago. Took it up their, they testd it and said it was fried. I was having the same problems as u stated. Then i bought the new batt after it was pronounced fried and it hasnt done what u described since. But obviously u have replaced ur batts.
