Got my early Christmas present from FoMoCo and my local Ford "Bold Moves" dealer today - a short in the wiring harness that cooked my tranny temp sensor, among other general mischief.
While fixing the short was a mere $300 (hey, it's only money and it's Christmas - my cup overfloweth), I'm balking a bit at the $249 they want to change out the temp sensor.
So, anyone have an idea how much one of these costs, and how difficult it is to swap it out? I understand that the sensor is located in the pan itself.
