ok so how much of a block lift is too much? my truck has about 6in. of lift but the back end sags about an in. vs the front and im trying to level things out. so i need to know if its safe enough for me to add an in. to an 1 1/2in. to the rear to level things out. right now it has the factory 350 block with a 1in. spacer on top.
whoa, 5'' block? Thats scary...
I wouldnt go bigger than 4'' unless you think you have to, and even then a 4'' block looks cheap to me...(my .02)
And I second the do not stack blocks comment, if you are gonna have a big ole space between your leafs and axle, at least have it be one solid block...
There was a silver Excursion, in that forum, looked like two 3" blocks but he had traction bars. I've noticed alot of show trucks use tall blocks, but always have traction bars.
the factory is 3.75", i was kinda planning on getting traction bars too but wasn't sure if i could do that much of a lift even if i had them, forgot to mention the traction bars. hmmmm, well this all throws a kink in the plans.....
ok well ive been thinking a little on this and it seems that i just need an actual lift kit, mine seems to be pieced together with hangers up front and that spacer in the back, plus id like to go up to 7" or 8"s to help clear the 37s when i the axles try to articulate. so how much is a good 7" or 8" lift kit going for and what r the best/best bang for the buck lift companies?
