I can read coral painter files. My printer is too old to handle the printing of them, but I can read them.

All these power plants WON'T likely fit...although some are obviously from non-Sooper Dooties but older 3/4 toners and up...

Modern Gassers: 5.4L (330) 6.8L (415)
Older Gassers: 5.9L (360), 6.4L (390), 7.5L (460)
REALLY Old Gassers: (1958-1981) 6.5L (401), 7.8L (477), 8.7L (534)
Smokers: 6.0L, 6.4L 7.3L

Oh yeah nick...notice the 6.0L and 7.3L are on the list!

Tex, are you a printer?

I can export to just about any format but if I do, you won't be able to break elements apart and move them around if you need to but yeah, I can probably separate and all that stuff.

That's good Joe, just go ahead and tease the poor kid. You're setting one hell of an example.....you should be ashamed of yourself.

My personal printer is too old to handle the good quality that we would want. I might be able to fanagle the use of a more current printer to do the job. Also I would have figured coral draw and coral painter would be able to edit files from both as they are both coral products, but maybe they do that to make you have to buy two different software packages.

Being one of them I can vouch for that. I just have to rag on the 7.3 people every now and again.

Tex, it has nothing to do with different products but they are two different file formats and they have never been compatible, on any program.

Draw is a VECTOR format and the others are bitmap. Ie, photoshop and PICTURES are usually bitmap and simpler graphcis like the shirts which are also much cleaner and sharper are/can be/should be vector format.

Flash on the web is a vector format and that's how it all started. Flash had the ability to give you VERY small files/fast loading while still giving you a lot so to speak. Same with Corel. The tshirt files are maybe a few hundred kb in size but if they were photoshop they would be 5-10 megs. Huge difference.

You simply cannot manipulate one of the files with the other program, that's why.
