Is There Anything Besides Glow Plugs That Can Cause Cold Starting Problems? How Do You Check Glow Plugs? Does My 1996 F-250 P.s. Have Any Type Of Fuel Heater? Thanks For Any And All Help.
If the timing is retarded too far (only a few degrees) it absolutely won't start. And it it's only retarded a little, but the automatic timing advance is not working, it won't start either.
very dissapointed in the amount of non help on this site. I got one reply to a cold starting problem with my 1996 F-250 powerstroke. I replaced the glow plugs 2 yrs. and 15,000 miles ago, could they be bad already? Any help this time? thanks.

maybe wait a little longer and people might help you? making posts like this makes me definitely not want to help you out, also you could check the forums specific to your model year and make the thread in there, might get better luck then
I am having similar problems as you are. I have put in new glow plugs, relay, temp sender, batteries, and still no cold start. I am currently checking on some other ideas that a IH mechanic buddy told me about. Check in with me in a couple of days and I may be able to help.
Thanks For The Help Guys, when It Gets Cold Again I Will Try And Check The Relay. I Am In N.c. And Its Getting Almost To 80 Degrees Here Now,no Starting Problems.

Lets see, you waited an 1.5 hours between posts and......posted in the wrong forum and you are disappointed. Then you must not have read what others posted here, if you did then you missed an opportunity to apologize after rollerstud98 politely pointed out your impatience/error. BTW: This is the best website for getting free information on your PSD....period! OK, I'm done

You're right! I need to practice my math and reading skills....and I will, when I get enough time away from here helping others (and getting help too). I really do apopolgize and need to slow down while reading these posts.....during breakfast this morning, before I go to work (the one I get paid for) and during my lunch period and any free time after work too.
You could ask for your money back, waiting 25 hours, 18 minutes is way too long of a wait for the advice you need. OR, Perhaps you should have fixed last month...the first time you posted the same symptoms https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...-starting.html . Maybe I'll follow your lead and slow down, do nothing until it's an emergency, then expect others to drop everything just to help you out.
The SEARCH feature would have givien you all the info you need. There are many, many posts on this subject.
