I got the '89 last year with 63K miles and while not pristine, in very nice body shape for a farm truck. I have done some maintenance, new tires, new fuel pump, replaced liquids/filters, herculited the bed, new over load springs and shocks (the old ones were shot), and once I get rid of the accelloration stumble, I am in heaven.
One issue, Flivver came with no significant body dents. Between Walmart shopping carts and a couple of careless mistakes on my part, I have large dents that need to be pulled out. They do not appear to be where I can get a block on the inside, and I do not want to pay the megabucks to pull them out. None have any crease in them so I am thinking of a suction puller.
1. any experience?
2. do you have specific/explicit recommendations (part number, et.al.)?
3. i tried the plumber's helper, it seems to be too large to get a grip.
