I need Help!!

So I got in my truck this morning and headed off to work. On the way it started raining. I turned the windshield wipers on and they worked for a few minuets but then the driver side just stopped in mid sweep. I turned them off, pulled over and pushed the wiper back down and it went down fine, but then I turned them back on and neither would come up. I took the arms off and the connectors are not damaged. probly the ground. mine do that every once in a while

Probably the locking clip holding the LH/RH wiper pivot shaft arms to the motor crank arm has fallen off. If you can move one wiper without the other moving that would give you the sign...... If both move then it could be the bolt holding them to the crank motor arm on the wiper motor.

On the earlier 80's models, there were screws around the front edge. Then you pull it forward out from under the windshield chrome. I assume the later models are the same.
