good 6.0 thread!
hello. i figured i would start a thread for everyone with a "good" 6.0.
my mother has a 2005 f 350 lariat SRW CC. it now has 40k miles and has been great.
the only problems weve had with it has been a turbo at about 30k miles and the 4 wheel drive clunks once in a while and she said she didnt think it went into 4 wheel drive one time.
the truck starts every time, hot and cold, starts right up w.out being pluged in over night around 10 degrees just fine!
but just went in to dealership for new firestone tires and 40k mile service. and for some reason the dealer wont replace the squeeking belt!

My 06' F-350 6.0 has been great,,going on 29 k, dont baby it,,pull's like a 20 legged mule, lol ,us D Kleen about every tankful, change the oil at 5 K, push a 9' Fisher MM, plow, have the Fumoto valve, have the other new type fuel drain plug, need to change fuel filter's again soon, the trailer brake controler works great, Tow/haul mode is impressive, when I use it.
Only thing I would like to change, is when my 4 ton equipment trailer is hooked up,,and empty,,it makes the truck bounce,,between 40 and 50 mph mostly( also made my other trucks bounce but not as bad as the 06'),,my other 2 trailers dont affect it like this one does. Radial tire's (on one) and Torsion bar suspension (on the other trailer) is prob why, other then this,,truck is Great !
