Hello everyone,
I'm brand new to the site and already I'm finding it very helpful. I just picked up a 1986 F250 Supercab, long bed 4x2 and she's running a 351W with the C6 tranny.
Yes, I have searched extensively on my question. I even tried Ford's VIN decoder with no success.
I've searched high and low with no luck. Where do I find out the output of my truck's alternator? I need to replace the belt, but I figure it would also be good to know in case my alternator ever goes out.
Thanks!

I also have an 86 F250 Supercab, longbed 4x2 running the 351w and c6 tranny. Mine is a 70amp alternator which I believe is OEM spec. You should be able to swap it out for a higher output if need be, but anything the parts store sells for this setup should fit fine.
