chrome under paint

chrome under paint
I have a set of four rims that I boight with a parts truck that are painted white... I see where it is chipped that there is chrome under the white paint. These rims have potential except for the white paint... How can I remove the paint without hurting the chrome?

mild paint remover should take the paint and not the chrome. they were prob just spray canned on if they are chipping so it shouldnt take too much.
