Exactly 11,000#?
What about the payload sticker in the door?
Are those 18" wheels?

That is what the sticker said, exactly 11000#. Yes, they are 18" wheels, with 275/70 tires.

I believe you. I was just thinking the crew-cab short-beds were around 10,400. Maybe they upped it for '08 or I was thinking about something else. Anyways, cool truck!

I completely agree. There are a few trucks that i have seen look good. There are tohers that are just plain fugly.

The dark ones seem to look better.

I think the smoke colored bugshield helps, because the chrome doesnt cut up into the hood... it makes the hood appear to be straight like the older trucks.

My 08 arrived

Great looking truck, I picked mine up on 11/19 and as you said these trucks are just Awesome. I went with the Power Stoke, it's my first diesel, but so far I enjoy it.

What bed cover are you running? I looked at the uncover but they didn't have them for the 08 yet.

I think you are misreading your information. The 11,000# is the GVWR, which means the total weight: Truck + passengers + payload = GVWR.
I weighed my new F-350 long bed, 6.4 PSD 4 x 4 towing packages, etc., and my weight was 9,200#. I have a dually, so my GVWR is 13,000# as shown on the door.
As advice. Check your air pressure in your tires.
Not like some comments above, I think ALL the 2008's look good.
