460 identification help needed...
Is a 460 engine out of an early '70's F700 the same block as a passenger car or LT? Would the block be a 4 bolt main block? Any help with identifying/ casting numbers etc greatly appreciated. Casting number for a 4 bolt main block would be great. Thanks.

1965/78 F600 and larger trucks ~ FT engines: 330; 330 H/D; 361; 391.
D1VE-6015-AB: Bare block casting number for 429/460.
Cast in 1971. 429 block used 1971/74 passenger cars / 460 block used 1973 thru midyear 1979 on F100/350's and thru 1978 on passenger cars.
